Soleil & Terroir Reserve Merlot Vinas del Sol Vineyard 1997

This Merlot layered with bright ripe fruit. Unveiled are rich berry fruit, plum and black cherries. It is integrated with flavors of caramel, smoke, and toast. It is very complex, rich, and has extremely well balanced fruit. Tannins are laid back but provide the right backdrop for the fruit to come forward and please the palate.
